Well tomorrow is me birthday. (Im surprised I spelled tomorrow correctly. I usually try to remember it as Tom Or Row so it helps out).
My Texas ID is still in Texas. Ma forgot to bring it back so I could have it. gee, plain old government ID should have to do for now (sarcastic frown).
My pistol belt (yes the cowboy style pistol belt that was being custom made for me) should be done by the time I get back home (Home being Texas, the time I get back being the 14th or so of August).
The warehouse/office building is done. Business should be back up by Monday.
I learned a few new tricks, which I will hopefully be able to show all y'all(y'all is singular. All y'all is plural.) one or two of them (if you really care that is) tomorrow.
Ma's taking me shopping for suits in teh next few days. Apparently western clothing isn't that acceptable in DC, especially in the presense of politicians.
I'm doing a LeadAmerica thing on Diplomacy, Foreign Policy, and national Security. I'll be meeting people from teh CIA, FBI, several other governmental organizaitons. Basically I might meet my future employers. SO I have to look nice.
Now although I have been known to wear a three peice suit on occasion,I don't have the variety of suit choices. hence the shopping.
For some reason my creative juices have been flowing the past few days. This is the cause of the spur of the moment influx of song lyrics to my Live Journal. So take a read, comment if you like (you never will), and enjoy.
Ben Bell and teh Stardust Boys (House band at The Stardust Room, my future place of magic employment hopefully) is supposedly really good. I'll have to go see them.
Matt Hole and the HotRod gang was pretty good too. British Invasion Rockabilly. Really quite good.
I can't wait to go shoot my great grandaddy's model 92 Winchester repeater circa 1926. Very good condition and is operational. VERY GOOD for a 79 year old gun.
When I turn 18 my firearms collection will begin (much to the horrow of Mr. Groatman *poke*). Firearms are in investment. Back in the 80s a semi automatic M4 was about 700$. Now they are about 2000$.
The place in Houston has antique firearms as well. Like a 17th/18th century Turkish Fortress Gun. .80 cal It was mounted on the battlements. It's HUGE. Bunch of old swords, pistols, muskets, rifles, helmets, other pieces of militaria. Let's just say when i walked through the door it was a messianic experience for me.
ANYWAY (Hemmingway) I'm 17 tomorrow.
So what time is Applebees?
